Join Leeds Cycling Campaign and make a difference to cycling in Leeds.
- Take part in weekend and occasional midweek rides around Leeds and further afield, for all abilities. You could even train to become a ride leader!
- Make sure decision-makers hear and understand about cycling.
- Link with partner organisations including Cycling UK, the Walk Wheel Cycle Trust (formerly Sustrans) and local groups.
- Meet up and socialise with other people who cycle, or want to cycle. You could help less confident riders, or pick up tips from experienced cyclists.
- Tell your Councillors and MPs how they can make cycling a natural choice for people like you, in and around Leeds.
How to join
Complete one of online forms for either an Individual Membership or a Couples Membership and then then pay us.
If you have any questions please contact our Membership Secretary (membership leedscyclingcampaign.co.uk).
Once you have paid, please allow up to 14 days to receive your membership pack.
What does it cost?
There is only one type of membership for an adult person, whether they are single or part of a family or couple. You can join at any time during the year and your membership fee will cover you for 12 months following receipt of your payment. You can join as a single or a couple depending on which option suits you the best. The current rates are::
- Individual membership = £8 per year
- Two waged adults at the same address = £16 per year
- Children = Free
If you’d like to make a donation on top of your membership payment to help our work on improving cycling in Leeds even more, you can add that as you pay for your membership.
We spend the money on campaigning and general administration. Your money pays for publicity banners, stalls at bike shows, and affiliation to national organisations such as Cycling UK. Cycling UK affiliation provides us with the public liability insurance we need to lead bike rides.
